Meet us on our World Tour!

We are launching the first edition of Mapwize World Tour! Throughout the year, our team will travel to dozens of locations around the globe to meet local experts, partners, customers and prospects. This tour is a unique opportunity to discover the latest Mapwize features and meet with our experts. We will first hit the road to Japan with a Breakfast Event in Tokyo on April 9th. Next events will be held in San Francisco, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Toronto, Los Angeles, Lisbon, etc. Do you have a project involving indoor mapping? Do you want to know when Mapwize is coming to town? Check out our website! Registration for the Tokyo Breakfast event is already open here. We are looking forward to meeting you all!

Offline mode now available!

Mapwize maps live in the cloud, so they can easily be updated at any time and displayed on any device. However, there are use cases where accessing the map is so critical that one cannot rely on an Internet connection: crowded events, basements, boats, or military areas. After many months of hard work, we are proud to announce that a complete Offline mode is now available on both iOS and Android. Users are now able to download all the venue data on their devices and use advance features such as search and direction engines. The Offline mode is available for iOS and Android SDK developers within Build & Enterprise plans.

 Eurexpo relies on Mapwize Analytics

Mapwize Location Analytics is now deployed at Eurexpo exhibition center in Lyon. Thanks to the Cisco Wi-Fi infrastructure deployed on site and the Cisco CMX Location Engine, a huge amount of anonymous data is generated each day. It includes the positions of all smartphones, computers and other Wi-Fi-enabled devices at all times of the day within the 140,000m2 premises. Mapwize Location Analytics processes that data to provide dynamic heat maps and metrics about the anonymous visitors. The key feature of this project is the ability to display the location data not only on the technical map of the building but also on the maps of the different events taking place in the venue. Event organizers now have a dedicated interface to upload their event maps and visualize all the corresponding location data.
